Past dated Invoices

We need to understand the number of days within which e-invoice should be generated for the invoice created in accounting system. How much days regulation provide to generated e-invoice.

For eg. Invoice in SAP system created on 1st November and e-invoice for the same is yet not created. Can e-invoice be created on today's date i.e. 4th November 2024 for the invoice dated 1st November 2025?

The expectation is for invoices to be created in real-time or near-real-time (preferably End of Day). FIRS will release further guidelines as we progress with the rollout.
