Unilever deals with Beauty, personal care and Ice cream products, Unilever don't have post sale service process, so in such case what service category ECC system send to FIRS ?

You do not need to pass a Service Code since your company is product-focused.

Please note that Product Code and Service Code are mutually exclusive, you should include only one of them per invoice line, not both.

If the taxpayer is a product-based company, what value should be selected in this mandatory field? Similarly, if the company is involved in logistics and transportation, which lookup option should be chosen?

If the taxpayer is product-based, they should include the corresponding product code within the invoice line.
However, for companies engaged in logistics and transportation, which fall under service-based activities, the appropriate classification can be found in Section H – Transportation and Storage of the ISIC Classification.

SysAdmin For these service-based companies, what values should be provided in the HSN code and Product type fields since they are mandatory fields? Also, as you mentioned in your comment to Unilever that any one of these would be applicable — does that mean if we don’t provide values for HSN and Product, it won’t cause any issue?

SysAdmin My understanding is that if a company is service-based, they are not required to provide the HSN code and product details, and if the company is product-based, they don’t need to provide the service code values. So, effectively, only one of these fields is mandatory, not both

Leela Only one field is available within the invoice. You either pass a product code and the corresponding description, or a service code and the corresponding description.
