Please I need the HSN/HS code for sale of services (e.g. clearing & forwarding). I can't find this on the firsmbs portal.

What you have enumerated above pertains to a service, not a product. Therefore, you should be looking for an ISIC Code (Service Code) rather than an HS Code (Product Code).

Kindly call the Service Code endpoint (https://einvoice.firs.gov.ng/docs/resources/get-service-codes) and search using the relevant service description. If you are unable to find an exact match (e.g., “sales of service”), It may also be helpful to consult with your compliance team for further guidance, as not all services have a direct one-to-one code match.

We have the same question on our side.
I saw your answer below, but HSN_code and product_category are mandatory fields that must be filled in. And we cannot put blank/null because the invoice is rejected.
How should we proceed?

Demz Yes. They are mandatory. However, the HSN code field accepts either product code or service code.
