1.	Independence of the SI Platform:

Is it mandatory for the SI to function as an independent platform, separate from existing ERP or accounting systems, for the purposes of e-invoice generation, validation, and transmission? Alternatively, is it permissible for the SI to be integrated within existing business platforms, provided it meets all compliance and security standards set by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and other relevant authorities?
2. Eligibility to Become an SI:
Can any company become a System Integrator (SI) for e-invoicing in Nigeria? Are there specific eligibility criteria, such as technical, financial, or operational requirements, that a company must meet to qualify as an SI?

A System Integrator (SI) can operate in any of the following ways:

An OEM of an accounting solution may align its product with the new invoicing requirements in Nigeria.
A competent IT company can apply to FIRS & NITDA for recognition as a System Integrator.
A taxpayer may commission its internal technical team to standardize their invoicing solution.

Where a taxpayer configured it’s own ERP whether the defined SLAs as provided above would need to be complied with by such taxpayer or is it applicable only for independent SI platforms
