If I want to integrate E-invoicing through my system do I have to register only as a System Integrator(SI) or I have to Register as Both SI and APP? And If I only register as SI do I have all functionality of API to register and Sign E-invoice. Please can you let me Know about that. Thanks!

System Integrators (SIs) are responsible for adapting and standardizing internal accounting or ERP systems to conform with the specifications defined by the FIRS. Their primary role is to ensure that invoice data is structured in the correct format from the source system. Access Point Providers (APPs), on the other hand, are responsible for securely transmitting, reporting, and signing invoices. This includes delivering invoices across parties through the e-Invoice exchange platform. As such, API keys and permissions are scoped based on the registration type, and each type can only perform functions aligned with its designated role.
Luiz Hello, thank you for your reply, but the doubt is if we as company the send invoices to customers, need to contract a 3 party to be our System integrators, or if we can act as SIs to our company. We want to do everything in house. Regards, Luiz

However, to serve as your own Access Point Provider, you will need to register on the FIRS portal https://einvoice.firs.gov.ng/serivce-providers/accesspoint-providers/register and review NITDA's guidelines https://nitda.gov.ng/sdm_downloads/regulatory-guidelines-for-electronic-invoicing-in-nigeria/ to determine your eligibility.

SysAdmin As a System Integrator providing internal services for your company, registration isn't required. Taxpayers can access the necessary details and keys for invoicing standardization on their portal. For Access Point Provider (APP), taxpayers can engage APP by selecting or switching APP through their portal.

SysAdmin To obtain the base URL (Host): Taxpayer: Check the API Integration tab on the Taxpayer's portal. Access Point Providers (APP): Check the Developers tab on the APP Portal. System Integrators (SI): Check the API Integration tab on the SI portal.
