Invoice Schema- Defining Tax Percentage

@SysAdmin As a system integrator, I’d like some clarification on the invoice schema. How is the tax percentage defined for each tax category? I can see the tax category endpoint in the resources, but the sample response doesn’t include the percentage. How should we retrieve the tax percentage for each tax category?

Dear @Ayomide,

Tax percentages are only predefined for static taxes with fixed rates — such as VAT, which is specified at 7.5% in the endpoint response.

Other tax categories, however, are variable and may differ based on transaction type, volume, and location. Therefore, as a System Integrator, you should provide a configurable field within your solution to allow taxpayers to manually input applicable tax percentages where they are not predefined.
